Trash to Treasure project is a year long engagement initiated by the Bloom Innovations aimed at decreasing the amount of plastic waste produced in Gombe Metropolis.

Plastics bottles are well known for causing environmental problems and can take up to 450 years to decompose when put into a landfill. Plastic pollution is a huge problem for our planet today. Trash to treasure project provides its stakeholders with hands-on experience that helps them grow to see that efforts to cut the wasteful use of resources does make a difference. By recycling plastic, they become aware of the dangers that the over-consumption of plastic can have.
